Prospect House | Styled Wedding |Dripping Springs, TX

I had the absolute pleasure of working with some incredibly talented people in the industry on this styled shoot out at Prospect House in Dripping Springs. Ellen Westcott’s vision for the styled shoot, along with Royal Fig’s delicious food, the beautiful floral displays by Clementine Botanical Art, the amazing furniture from 10th Collection, the beautiful stationery from Peach Paper & Design, lovely hair/makeup from LoLa Beauty and of course the stunning bridal gown loaned from Serendipity Bridal – all made for a elegant vision that any bride would love to have!

California Engagement Session | Carmel + Pebble Beaches | Monterey, CA

These two amazingly sweet, funny, lovable men said their I-do’s this past weekend!

Prior to their wedding date, we did an engagement shoot on Carmel and Pebble Beaches (Spanish Bay). Considering all the recent rains in northern/central California, the weather over the weekend was gorgeous! So, we took advantage of the dreamy golden hour light and cloudless skies and ventured down to the beaches. We risked bacteria infections, hypothermia, broken faces and limbs to get some of these photos … okay, not really. 😉 There were signs up warning us to stay out of the water – so we did. One of them MAY  have tripped and almost face planted it into some rocks, but is a rockstar and caught himself! And it wasn’t so cold to be hypothermic but it was windy and brisk … but it’s Northern California in the winter – what did we expect?  🙂

I am very honored to have taken these photos for Movses and Nikita. I wish them all the happiness in the world!

** To Movses and Nikita, thank you both for being such troupers and climbing on slippery rocks and braving the chilly winds to get these photos! You both are rockstars and I wish we had more time to do more photos but I am super thrilled with what we accomplished in a short time.

Camp Lucy Wedding | Sacred Oaks | Dripping Springs, TX

Last Fall I had the pleasure of assisting Melissa Glynn with a couple of weddings. One of which was at the beautiful Camp Lucy  – specifically at Sacred Oaks. It was my first time out at Camp Lucy and I have to say it truly is a beautiful venue! We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather and a bride with amazing sense of style! She had THREE wedding dresses and they all looked amazing on her!

It was a smaller, more intimate wedding but still filled with lots of love and laughter.

Many congratulations to the happy couple!

Mansion Wedding | Ancient Oaks Plantation | Bastrop, TX

I have to admit I had no idea until maybe a few years ago that cotton was grown in Texas. In school I always read about the Carolinas, Alabama, Georgia and probably Mississippi … but never Texas. What I didn’t realize was how many plantations were just outside the city limits of Austin.

I had the opportunity to second shoot another wedding with the talented Nadine recently and was super excited to shoot a wedding at a private residence. The older part of the home was recently restored and made a historical landmark. It really is quite beautiful! The ceremony was held on the front steps and the cocktail and reception were both held outside underneath these beautiful live oak trees on either side. I walked about a fifty or so yards back from the festivities to just soak it all in. It was beautiful. Perfect moonlit night with lights strung between the trees with the sounds of chatter and music.  I will admit the modern stage was a bit jarring of a juxtaposition but there would’ve been a band of sorts there 80 years ago.  All in all, it was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple.
