I love shooting weddings, but I almost love shooting engagement sessions more. You really get a sense for the love between a couple and their personalities during the more one-on-one time.
“It’s all in the eyes.” Whenever people ask me how I can tell a fake smile from a real one or whether or not something is wrong, that’s my answer. The eyes are truly the gateway to the soul and during this shoot I could see how much love these two have for each other.
Alex and Daniel, thank you for trusting me to do your engagement photos! I can’t wait to see your wedding!

I had such a wonderful time with this adorable couple! They’re getting married this fall down in the valley.
I wish them the utmost happiness and an incredible wedding filled with family, friends and lots of love!

This east coast girl was not prepared for this roller coaster ride of a winter the last couple of months! This wonderful couple braved the chilly weather and met me one morning in Gruene for their engagement photos. No offense Rod, but Angie gets major props for wearing a thin material dress during our session! She was a champ!
There was no better way to brave the chilly morning than a great engagement session filled with laughs. FILLED! They were such a joy to work with and I wish them the very best on their wedding day! Congratulations you two!
